In 1991 a group of 4 young street hardened boys by t he name of B.O.N.E. Enterpri$e
used t heir musical t alents t o obtain one way bus t ickets t o make t heir way out f rom t he rough
city of Cleveland, Ohio. They headed out t o Los Angeles and were determined t o perform f or
the t op record l abels at t he t ime. They constantly called i n t o prove t hemselves. Their efforts
paid off when t hey rapped over t he phone t o l egendary N.W.A. member, Eazy E, who owned
Ruthless Records. They displayed t heir melodic rapid f ire l yrics with group harmony.

Eazy E who was having a show i n t heir hometown sent t he group back on t he bus t o sign
contracts under a new name, Bone Thugs -n- Harmony. While t he group name changed t he
boys kept t heir aliases Krayzie Bone, Layzie Bone, Bizzy Bone, and Wish Bone
Eazy put t hem on a f ast t rack t o display t heir t alents t o t he world. I n 1994 t he boys
cranked out t heir debut EP “Creepin On Ah Come Up” with hit singles “Thuggish Ruggish Bone”
and “Foe Tha Luv of $” which f eatured t heir mentor, Eazy E and Layzie’s brother Flesh-n-Bone.
The group’s style brought a breath of f resh air t o hip hop at t he t ime t hat t he album went double

Without t heir mentor around t o see t heir careers t hrough t o t he highest points t hat he
could have propelled t hem t o, t he boys t ook i t upon t hemselves t o put a new spin on t heir song
Crossroads and add a t ribute t o Eazy E. What came out was t heir greatest single “Tha
Crossroads” which has sold millions around t he globe and even won t hem a Grammy. Since
then t he group released a f ew more albums under Ruthless Records; double album Art of War
in 1997, BTNHResurrection i n 2000, Thug World Order i n 2002, and Thug Stories i n 2006. I n
2007, t hey signed with I nterscope Records and worked with Swiss Beats t o create Strength &
Loyalty. I n 2010 with much f an i nput t hrough “Think Tanks” t he group released Uni5: The
World’s Enemy, which f eatured a recently released f rom prison, Flesh-n-Bone.

Throughout t he years and also between albums t hey have released multiple solo
projects. They have also released albums under Mo Thugs which f eatured artists f rom t heir city.
These days t he Bone Boys can still be seen and heard on various social media platforms,
engaging with f ans by continuing t o t ell stories with t heir f ast melodic rap style and straight
discussions. Eazy E passing away did not stop t he group f rom still selling millions around t he
world but l ittle did t hey know t hat t hey would be f ast t racked t o l egendary status and affecting
the whole music i ndustry i nto f ollowing t heir style.
